How Hip Rotation Helps Balance

At the Thursday session, we did free hitting for the entire 2 hours and I frequently experienced the sensation of the hip impulse on the forehand. Everything came together. At times I hit very smoothly with good control. It felt extremely satisfying.


Good racquet preparation i.e. the unit turn with racquet held out to the right, allowed a good racquet drop and good swing to contact. Many times, I sensed the toe of my right foot scraping along the court, indicating good balance, shown frequently in the following video:
